The Big News

Now I know a lot of you, my friends and other fellow Alaskans have come here for more details about me resigning from leading this great state.

Well, I’ve got a fight to fight and sometimes you can’t fight and lead from behind a desk. Did Winston Churchill win World War II just by sending behind a desk? I think not.

So to really get there and effect change I’m leaving my office. Like George Washington I won’t seek another term either.

As you know from reading my blog here, I’ve been really busy, and now that I’m no longer going to be Governor I’m going to be even busier.

You see America is under attack and I need to get in there and throw the ball. And when you want to throw the three pointer you need to be outside that white line, and when I’m sitting in the Governor’s chair I’m just too darn close to the basket.

See, I need the extra time to concentrate on the fight against Socialism. And America is so strong and good that people from outside can’t bring us down, only people from inside… the socialists… can try, and I’ve got to stop them.

People ask why I’m so concerned. What is dangerous about Socialism? But they’re confused, true the coffee social at church is fine, but this isn’t that kind of social. You see, "Socialism is Communism with its Claws Retracted"

And I know how to kill bears.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The internet is abuzzing with the discovery of Atlantis, and this can be a lesson to all of us.

The internet is a sea of lies and pseudo science spread by bloggers and liberals sitting in their basements. These are people who would fight to defend a terrorists “rights” while fighting to stop the rights of Americans to get true values into our schools and science classes.

So now The Googles has got a program that shows squiggly lines at the bottom of the ocean and suddenly the internets got their pajamas in a bunch thinking it is a sign of Atlantis.

Of course it is not true. If you go to the source of the article you will see that they claim Atlantis sunk in the year 9000BC. That would be thousands of years before the actual creation of the Earth. Such fantasy.

We need to get real education back in our schools. All this talk of magic mutations making apes change into men is making our children dull and more easily swayed by the illogical and dangerous thinking of the leftist Democratic Party and their liebelous blogs.

Ground Hog's Day

Today was Ground Hog's Day!

Its the event where the Ground Hog looks at his shadow and declares 6 more weeks of winter.

Or as we call it here in Alaska: Monday.

(Todd told me that - I like it, it captures the spirit of this rugged land I am proud to lead, and it is funny... because the whole idea is stupid, how does a Ground Hog know the weather?)

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately.

I’ve just been busy busy busy.

What’s up you say?

We’ll I’ve got a book I’m working on. Now don’t be surprised, we’ve got books up here in Alaska and I’ve read all of them, so you know I can write a good one too. Its going to be about my travels across this great nation and how went from housewife to the most popular Governor in America. And let me just tell you, working out isn’t just for your health.

Also I’ve got a new PAC! Now if you weren’t sure what a PAC is don’t worry, I wasn’t too sure myself. Its just one of those string of letters those boys in Washington make up to make us think their busy. It means “Political Action Committee” and all it means is I don’t have to worry anymore about whose paying for what plane ride. Or something.

Well the details don’t matter I just wanted you all to check out our look.
Awesome isn’t it. It’s got a picture of me in my new hairstyle, which is nice, but also its got that cool “Alaska is freakin’ huge compared to the rest of America” logo.

I mean seriously. Look at the entire old liberal Northeast, you could put all of that and California into Alaska and have room to spare. Heck you could probably stick every state that didn’t vote for me and still have room to spare.

That has got to mean something.

Conservapedia - The Truthapedia!

Now I'm no Internet guru, and I certainly am not as wired as Todd (where does he find the time to find all these bizarre links he keeps sending me)? But I know my way around certainly more than John ("print out my emails fir me") McCain.

Now some people say the internet is like the wild west, and that could be further from the truth. The wild west was filled with decent men and women working hard and making America great. If you were a good worker and hungry and needed food your boss would say "sure" and give you soup. People said "howdy" to each other. Never was heard a discouraging word. The wild west is Alaska, not the internet.

See the internet isn't filled with decent folk, it is filled with sad libruls that spend all day in their pajamas yelling at everyone with a keyboard. They are angry because they are too lazy to get a job and think they should be entitled to the flat screen TV the neighbor whose a hard honest worker just bought home. That sad thing is if the librul actually got the flat screen TV they'd watch only This Old Librul House and then try to compost the thing.

Another thing that has always bothered me about the internet was the elitism and ignorance of supposedly impeaceable resources such as Wikipedia. Seriously are we supposed to take them seriously with a name like that? If they were more honest they'd call themselves librulfantasyworldapedia. The only good thing about Wikipedia was that Todd was able to make some factual updates to my page there the day before McCain made his announcement.

So I was very excited when Todd introduced me to the Conservapedia. Finally an accurate research resource on the web. If my kids were going to do their homework I'd send them there.

Check out this bit on evolution.
The theory of evolution is a naturalistic theory of the history of life on earth (this refers to the theory of evolution which employs methodological naturalism and is taught in schools and universities).
...
Since World War II a majority of the most prominent and vocal defenders of the theory of evolution which employs methodological naturalism have been atheists. Although the defenders of the theory of evolution contend there is evidence that supports the theory of evolution, there is a multitude of serious problems with the theory of evolution which will be discussed shortly.
...
Prior to Charles Darwin publishing his work On The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life, Darwin wrote in his private notebooks that he was a materialist, which is a type of atheist.
See, that isn't what they're teaching in school, that evolution is atheist propaganda. Thank god this resource is letting the light of truth shine.

And it is updated everyday, check out what I learned today by reading its front page:
President-elect Barack Obama to End Military's 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Policy! The startling pronouncement, that Obama will allow gays to serve openly in the military, will re-invigorate the culture wars and re-focus attention on Obama's radical leftist agenda of deceit, came during incoming White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs's exchange with members of the public who sent in questions that were answered on YouTube. Just another sign of the immorality of liberals. Or is this more Obamaspeak, as when Obama reversed himself on the Roland Burris appointment?
Finally a honest look at the world, hey libruls does the truth hurt?

Am I happy to have an honest decent place to go to on the internet? You Betcha!

Americans not Polyglots

People ask me a lot about what I thought of New York. Well I certainly have had a lot of thoughts about it.

And the main thing is it makes you realize how great and special America really is.

In America you are an American (if you are American of course) and nothing else. There is no rank in Americanness. We don’t have a cast system where some people are untouchable and others are.

This was really brought home to me while visiting the United Nations. I went to the office of some foreign unchristian nation and was introduced to their ambassador by one of the ambassador’s staff members. The staff member noted, in awe, that the ambassador was a Polyglot.

Now we can complain about rich or poor in America but we make our wealth or poverty as we choose. We make ourselves. We aren’t born as untouchables or polyglots or whatever else there is.

We’re born as Americans.

Family Time

One thing I learned traveling this great nation this fall was how important family is to us Americans.

The American family is what made America great and continues to do so. A family with a mother a father and cute adorable children is a distinctly American creation and is a big part of making America that shiny city on the hill side.

I was asked so often how to keep the family strong with our busy 21st century lives.

Communication and family time is so important and so rare.

What we love to do is every week we get some take out, pop some popcorn in the microwave, and warm up the couch in front of the TV and watch Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader.

I tell you the questions make Katie Couric seem like a wimp.

My own Kippa

I guess I'm honored. I don't really have any Jewish friends to ask about what a Kippah is.

I wouldn't mind having a Jewish friend mind you, its just that there are no synagogues in Wasilla. You know Isreal is a very hot place and Alaska is kind of cold so that makes sense.

FYI, a McCain staffer told me a way to remember the word "synagogue" because I kept saying "Jewish Church" in one campaign rally. Here it goes: When Moses came down from the mountain and saw all the worshipping around the golden calf that he was agog over the sin. Cool huh?

Sarah Palin Kippah

This Kippah is ivory white with hot pink trim. On one side, there's a McCain/Palin logo in hot pink. On the other side, is a lipstick smudge with the words "Sarah Barajewda Eshet Chayil". Eshet Chayil means a "Woman of Valor" in Hebrew and it is the title of a peom written by King Solomon in the book of Proverbs. (FYI, Barracuda is a scary fish.)
Isn't that the coolest way to spell Barracuda? How would Heart sing that?

The real thing don't do the trick, no?
You better make up something quick
You gonna burn, burn, burn, burn, burn it to the wick
Ahh, bara- barajewda!

I know the Jewish people are very important to America because if they aren't in charge of Isreal we can't be raptured.

This cause and effect shows the complexity of religion and foreign policy and why the two can't be separated. I don't think the left gets it.

Let's Talk Turkey

One thing that jerk John Edward's was right about. There are two Americas. But it isn't a rich America and a poor America. Its Real America and "We want to be Europe" America.

The real America that understands where food comes from, and the East Coast Elite who thinks the meat in the grocery store comes fully formed from a factory.

I can't believe the fuss they made over the turkeys getting killed. Seriously how did they think the turkey arrived at the store... by walking?

True Americans are still in touch with the land and the traditions that made our nation great. And that includes slaughtering animals.

I guess the left would just like to meet with the animals without pre-conditions and just talk to them to death. Kill the turkeys with a drum circle or something.

Anywhoo, here's the video that caused all the fuss, shot by my old pals back at KTUU.
